Note: Most cats are already altered and vaccinated. Kittens may be too young and need these services after adoption. The costs of these services will be covered by our organization, per the agreement.
We start by reviewing your application and will reach out to you by phone within 24 hours of receiving it.
After speaking with you, eferences will be checked and address verified. If you are renting, you will need to provide your landlord's contact info for verification that the pet is allowed at the property.
An initial home visit will be your first chance to meet your new pet.
When the animals are brought to their new homes for an initial visit, it makes it much easier for them to adjust. It's less frightening to them if they are brought over by someone they trust. Up to three kittens or two adult cats can be present at this visit if you are unsure which animal you'd like to make part of your family.
The day after the home visit, we will contact you to check in and see if you've made a decision. If you still want to move forward with the adoption, the pet can be dropped off to you that day.
