Stripey showed up at the cat colony one day, so we promptly trapped him for TNR. While he was recovering from his neuter, we discovered that he is not feral at all! After spending a couple of days inside, Stripey refused to leave. He is now our resident cuddle kitty and is absolutely the sweetest boy. He grabs you for pets, which is heartwarming and also the reason he's wearing the nail caps. He loves all the other cats, doesn't mind the dog at all, and is very tolerant of children. He is super neat, has no bad habits, and is very quiet. He meows to you when you're having a conversation with him or when he's begging for treats, but not any other time.
He's estimated to be about 4 years old. Stripey is currently being treated with an experimental new antiviral drug for stomatitis to see if we can save his teeth. We will continue to help with his care after adoption.
